PROJECT 1 : CASE STUDY PRESENTATION BOARD
INTRODUCTION TO TOPIC
OBJECTIVES
The objective of this project is as follows:
-
To integrate architectural design and research through a specific case study, suipporting students' design through extensive research within the framework of Contextual Architecture in Asia.

To introduce student to activities which culminate in the production of the study; collection, indexing and evaluation of information; analysis of information; compilation and organization of study; writing of study; assembly of illustration and text; design of layout; binding and presentation.
Learning Outcomes.

Analyse and discuss in depth on the selected research area based on the selected building, within the framework of Contextual Architecture.

Indentify significant elements of Contextual Architecture through investigation on the selected building.

Produce, orally and in writing, a critical interpretation of Contextual Architecture of the selected building.

A paper (2,000 words, double-spaced)

A power point presentation (10 minutes) - which contatins an outline of the paper covering key issues and themes explred as well as bibliography.
By completing this project i am able to achieve multiple designated learning outcomes that would further benefit me in my studies and pursue or architecture. Here are the few learning outcomes that I've obtain through finishing this project.

Ability to produce abstract graphic illustration according to the theme of the chapter

Ability to propose suitable graphic storyline to convey said message

Ability to produce proper understandable diagrammatic explaination board and presentation board

Ability to produce quality research to extract information from case study area

Ability to extract information from various literature sources

Ability to produce case study paper with suitable research finding and analytics to provide evidence of findings and research
